what would be the first signs of this .not quite sure what ive got but there is definately some sort of squeel or screech when you completely floor it .it does rather sound like a slipping belt or something but not sure .other than that, anything other than flooring it and its still rapid and pulls like a train. cars 2001 RS4 55000 miles ,phase 1 remap, miltek cat back, new drivers side wiper. ANY IDEAS????? :?

Pretty sure that there is a screeching assosciated with the turbo bearings on the KO4's! Get it checked.

My K04's have been making the same noise for the last 10,000 miles or so. Seems to be much more noticeable in the warm weather.

Unfortunately I don't think there is an easy way of inspecting the turbos properly with the engine in-situ.
