Exactly! You only ever hear about problems on forums! No-one ever posts saying "my car's running sweet today!".

That's because of the law of SOD... Guarantee that as soon as anyone posts all is well, it will decide it is being neglected and require a 4 figure sum spending on it to make it happy again. So for that reason i'm at 117k now and i'm not saying anything. Read into that as you will. Touch Wood etc etc.

Thats good to hear! Im sure performance cars CAN do high mileage without many problems if maintained well. My mate has an old 911 that has done well over 200k & the heads have never been off!
(He tracks it too!)

Mines running sweet today too- as always! Bought with 42000 miles and a remap and Miltek inc DP's, 2 services at MRC- no faults at the first in May 07, new DV's, Y-pipe seal, new MAF anyway, re-submitted Mar 08- no faults again, Nurburgring 14-16 Apr- faultless there and back and round the circuit itself, now just over 60000 miles-still no issues mechanically but back soon for remedial rear diff seals and front CV boots before they become terminal and an update RNS-E? unit instead of the standard Symphony. Just waiting for the call to say its all in for fitment......
Never boot it before 90 degrees comes up, always warm it down after a run and just enjoy it inbetween times....

Mine at 128k and running sweet as, but thinking at next cam belt change (160k) to rebuild her with some RS6 or hybrid turbos ! - if she lasts that long, off to the ring again at the end of next month .!!!!!
