Chirping sound...

Was out tonight and noticed a chirping sound coming from the engine,
I slowed down and it stopped – I haven't been out since.
Any ideas??? I'm very puzzled

Was it constant, only when on/off boost, etc?

at a guess is it as u put the engine under load as the engine moves?

Maybe the exhaust is scraping against something..as the engine moves slightly?

It doesn't sound like something rubbing. I reckon the guys who fitted the exhaust have managed to dislodge something. MRC recently gutted the precats – I wonder if they've disturbed the recently welded downpipe...

i had a exhaust mount rub a heat sheild once after a exhaust was fitted made same kinda sound check that kinda stuff heat sheilds can make nasty noises
