MP3 options for Nav Plus & Bose

I'd like to play mp3s on the standard system and don't want to rip it all out to fit anything aftermarket. I've looked at phatboxes, would this be the simplest way of playing mp3s or is there any other options that you know of?
Cheers,
Rob

The Phatbox is the simplest as it plugs in right where your CD changer is. It's a 2 minute job from what I remember.

I bought a piece of kit (small box) that plugs into the CD Changer socket and then gives you a 3.5mm standard jack. To play, I just hit the CDC button and plug the MP3 player into the jack. Sorted.
If you're interested I'll dig out the paperwork and tell you what the part was. Think it was about 70 quid.
