Boring topic

Post by carlosfandango » Wed Apr 01, 2009 12:49 pm

I am sure this has been asked before, I have searched but cant find the answers and no I am not looking for god but maybe the Holy Grail!

I am so fed up with buckled wheels, soft or hard RS4 wheels makes little difference, the wheels all bend the same.

I love the BBS wheels but just can't afford them I am afraid.

So has anyone seen the A8 wheels on an RS4 and if so any pics and or any views on what you think these wheels look like?

I have been tempted by after market reps of many wheels as they are cheaper than original wheels but I am afraid that I will just end up buying some tin foil reps that bend as soon as I put my foot down, do you think that the aftermarket wheels will be strong enough for an RS4?

I know there are so many wheels questions on here but would be interested to know the answers to my questions.

Thanks

Frustrated wheel bending noggy maniac

I think some reps are ok,and i don't see why they should buckle like the genuine rs4 ones.
My misses has bbs lm reps and they've not buckled but some of the laquer is starting to lift after only 9 months.

If the a8 alloys are the polished looking ones with loads of spokes you see on every other mk4 golf then i'm not to keen, but
maybe i'm thinking of the wrong ones.

It is so hard choosing wheels for your own car.I have bbs gt's on my avus,i love the wheels but think they look slightly
better on the darker coloured rs4's
Drive low,park lower
