Coil Springs needed

Had 4 new Goodyear F1's fitted on Friday.

During fitting we noticed that one of my rear coil springs had broken - the very top coil had snapped.

The shocks are all good (even after 104K miles) and due to speed bumps etc I don't want the car to sit any lower than standard or ride much harder.

Eibach don't list a set for the B5 RS4 - what would you recommend?

I am looking to change all 4 as they will be a bit tired by now.

Cheers

For the prices i was quoted for a spring on mine that went (and the fact that you would need to replace both sides at a minimum) is was around £500 all in for new parts. I therefore decided that as i was +100k as well that even if i replaced the springs, that might put the dampers under more stress than I wanted and i'd end up breaking stuff.

Therefore for around £1300 i had KWV3s fitted all round by APS. They are on the highest settings as i live in the depths of the North York Moors and the roads/lanes are not best suited for low ride hight and they are pretty much same hight as standard. Just so much better damped. Handling is definitely improved and car so much better through the twisty stuff.

Therefore i'd go for new stuff all round. Give Ed a call at APS and i'm sure he'll gladly help you out!
