Mirrors

After reading some negative comments regarding RS4's without the alu mirrors, it got me thinking about whether they would be any good on mine. I have a black RS4 with the optic pack so there is no chrome/alu on the car whatsoever.
Just interested to hear thoughts really although I think will this perhaps go against the character of my car and will mean less money to spend on meaningful bits!

I have the same black with black optics which is why I chose it. To be controversial, I don't think the chrome/alu look suits others colours IMO.

Think I've decided black is best, for now anyway. Those carbon jobs do look pretty sweet but I'm sure I could better spend the money elsewhere, RS6/B7 brakes for a start.....

Does anyone know if the B6 mirror caps will fit the B5?
