My RS with something... a little different...

Post by N11LS_J » Wed Sep 10, 2008 9:35 pm

Finally got them on after a long and lengthy process

I'm very happy with the results, i've always loved these wheels, sitting perfectly to fill those huge arches on the RS.

Very light too compared to OEM wheels

What do you guys think? Spose again, not to everyone's taste!

Too deep dish for me I think...

Off topic, what exhaust is that you have?
Looks quite nice from that rear angle...

I think pics don't do the wheels and car any justice, they really fill the arches quite well, wide n low!

I have the Supersprint set up n mine Marcus, brilliant system, can't fault it one bit

Cheers Jimbo, sold the other wheels a while back, made a tidy sum on top ofwhat i paid so had to go, my problem is that i get bored very quickly, an expensive problem i know!

I'm feeling the look.

Deep-dish wheels always look wider than they really are, very fitting for the B5 RS4.

Best set of wheels I have seen on an RS4 yet - love 'em.

Where did you get those beauties from?

Thanks for all comments guys, will try and get some proper pics, those were taken on sunday night in supermarket carpark after hours! Photoshoot took longer than the shopping!

Wheels were an absolute nightmare to get a hold of, 2 were sourced from Germany andthe oter 2 from Austria, as i wanted same spec all round.

Spec of the wheels:

BBS RS 290, 3 piece split rims, 9.5 x 18's, ET 18, wearing OEM spec tyres 255 x 35 x 18.

It's sitting quite low on the PSS9s, i've had to raise it up again slightly as the CATs were causing a problem on the blasted speed bumps.

Now i'v sussed it just right so it's low, handles well, and clears all speed bumps

I love the look of the Rs's on the RS4, looks fantastic and a nice change from the usual choices!
I have a new / boxed set of those in 17" (RS301's) sitting for my Golf Rallye, ballache to clean but worth the effort.
Just can't get the smile off my face......

Finally!

Look awesome, and yeh pics don't really do it justice.

Look perfect in the flesh, and the dish, phatness is just right.

Well done, and I know the hassles you had to get them to fit!
