As titled what is the best all round all weather tyre, i would like something sticky i do not track the car but do drive hard now and then and do like to take corners hard not being a tart but money is not an object.
I see a lot of people are talking about F1 Assymetrics but i'm not being arrogant when saying this but they seem a bit cheap, but if they are the best all the better.

F1's are the best on the market at the moment IMO. Superb all round tyre. You won't be dissapointed.

Looks like im going for them then. I have seen a load of people speaking about them i just thorght they where on the cheap side(not being flash just used to buying expensive tyres for my other cars) i was looking to pay around about £180 to £200 maybe evan £250 per tyre. But looks like iv saved some money.

A few week ago I fitted a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 2.
Categorically and without a doubt they are the 'Duck's Nuts'. I haven't tracked it yet, but around street corners I fly and it won't unstick - I am scared to think what entry speeds these will need before they unstick !!! They are equally impressive in the wet too!

I have had Michelins before, and they perform with no compromise and plenty of wear life to boot. Not cheap steve, but worth every penny.

They were exactly my sentiments, untill I tried the F1's. When you consider they are over £100 a corner cheaper to boot, it is a no brainer!

When i had a clio 182 i used Michelin's and they where round about £180 each so when i heard F1's are the best for a RS4 for just over £100 a corner i was quite surprised.

Where are the GoodYear F1 Assyms available for just over £100 a corner for the B5 RS4 ??

id like to know too .my local tyre monkey quoted £250a corner

I found Camskill are quoting £149 ea...

SP Sport 9000s can be had for £125 per corner and I can't fault mine over 10k miles - seen a number of half worn 18" F1s on Golfs go out of shape, you can feel a high spot in tread and sounds like a bearing.

BigBash- you need to give Micheldever Tyres a tinkle (they are on t'internet)- every time I get a quote from them for various tyres either bike or car they are ALWAYS cheaper than anywhere else. Only problem is getting em fitted on a Saturday- last time I went in Feb/Mar I thought I'd get there early at about 8 ish- and so did about 20 other people!!

Having had a set of P-Zeros (dreadful), a set of SP Sport 9000's (excellent feedback, let go progressively, good ride quality) and currently a set of F1's (good all-round) I will definitely go back to the 9000's.

Bought my F1s from Micheldever – £585 x4 fitted.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm just looking for the best tyre's im not to bothered about the cost as I have a friend who supplies and fits them for next to nothing. He has told me what he thinks i should get, but i thought i should ask you guys, being owners of rs4’s and trying different tyres. (How many miles i get on them doesn’t bother me either).
I remember having yokohamas on one of my cars once and they where really sticky and gripped to the road well. Any thought’s on yokohamas? Or should i not go there?
