If your planning on buying either, check out the difference in build quality.

Doh - welds are cruddy on the Supersprint... you get what you pay for IMHO. - A couple of Annoying thing about the Milltek's is no-one seems to be able to spell the name correctly and the the etchings on the end of the pipes aren't deep enough because after a couple of metal polishes of mine you can hardly see them any more... then again maybe some people want that.

I would really like to see photos under the car of the Milltek fitted. There is a sharp bend between the link pipes and the centre muffler to clear the chassis, and would like to see how they get around that with twin pipes.

Do they simply have the pipes routed under the chassis which effectively reduces ground clearance??

I'm puzzled too, not just because of the build quality and the 2-3000rpm resonance. If you shop around theres only £65 in it.

You're right with your estimation.
Miltek is only manufacturer I saw, who let the pipes completely splitted. On that point you mean they routed the pipes downwards, so that you in fact reduce your ground clearance. Anywhere I have some pictures from a customers car. As I found them, I will load them in this thread.

here we go......

Now I found the picture I mentioned before. It was taken overhaed and I marked the scratches which occured based on reduced ground clearance.

Thats the agreement you have to pay, if you want to have a completely splittet exhaust.

Lee, I guess you went for the S/Sprint?

I hope you can also confirm now that it does not boom at 2-3k rpm!

IMO best mod I've done to the car!

Milltek IMO is over hyped

Yes i did, the standard pipe had broken hangers and was generally ready for the bin much early than i planned. There no boom at all, nice deep rumble from tickover to about 1500rpm then sounds like a standard system +10% over the rest of the rev range. Didn't expect any performance gain so i'm very surprised how much low end torque its added and the engine feels free'er. Not sure about over hyped Millteks, think Audi enthusiasts haven't seen the wider picture and not been informed theres better product out there.

Hayward and Scott are awesome!
I've replaced the Prodrive system on my current car (Subaru Forester STi) with a H&S and the build quality is leagues above anything else i've previously seen
