Fitted TT style pedals!!

Post by A20LEE » Sat Jul 12, 2008 2:02 pm

Yep, got there in the end. Bit of trial an error but there on and look miles better than the slightly tacky looking B7 RS4 items, cheaper too ;-). Circ £45. Pretty chuffed with them. Next up OEM quality RS4 logo'd mats made by a local company.

The TT Pedals look great, far better than the B7 versions!

What colour Mats are you going for Lee - and have you considered asking them if they would do a group buy? - I'm after a set of well made front mats in black or charcoal grey that fix to the factory holes with a RS4 logo on them too.
Pedal rubbers look good, shame I've had a set of B7 ones sitting waiting to be fitted for a couple of months - To fit I'd recommend wearing thick gloves having previously left them to 'warm in a bucket of hot / boiling wate'.

They'll be the factory dark grey colour, looking at the sample carpet it actually looks better quality. The company MJ's speaking too would only be interested in doing a batch run anyway as they currently make OEM mats so a GB is definately on the cards. This is a pic of my old S3 mats and the quality i've asked for with the option of silver/black leather bindings.

Pedals went straight on and added a blob of pink grip to secure them. Accerator was a bit tricky because i ordered a RHD TT pedal, if i'd order the LHD (10mm wider) that too would have been a straight slip on affair.

Interested in GB too, especially seeing the quality / fitment of the ones in the S3

Yeah all the parts were ordered from the dealers. The S3 mats cost me £130 from Germany, hoping the RS4 ones MJ is hoping to source will be under that price as i'm not bothered about emboided rear mats like the S3.
