TIAL 650 GT28R KIT PRELIMINARY RESULTS: 530WHP AT 24PSI

We expect over 550whp easy on this set up (should do 575whp). The final tune will be 32 taper to 28 psi.
This kit bolts on to stock manifolds, which is what produced these numbers.

22psi boost and it is a 650bhp car?
What is the spec of the car?

looks more like absolute on that test with the dyno chart
it says below 28psi spike to 23.4 at red, 22psi requested?

Man, whats going on with all these crazy bolt on kits producing huge numbers with no internals ? Gotta be BS or close to popping ?

The boost graph is simply to illustrate the boost onset and response of the new TiAL turbo kit. Obviously because the stock sensor is maxed at 22psi you can't use that for boost profile any longer. The kit utilizes a GT28R CHRA with custom cast turbine housing and custom billet compressor wheel. Kit comes complete ready to bolt on to stock manifold. As stated above this car has a built engine, though it's producing low enough torque (450lb.ft to wheels) that it may not be an issue.
These turbo's are designed to spool faster then RS6's and flow about 75hp more air up top. 20psi is achieved by 3500rpm in 4th gear and 3800rpm in 3rd. This kit has been in development for over 3 years, and thanks for letting me post up some information on this forum. I assume that you guys would be interested in this kit, and it should be available from select TiAL dealers in Europe.

Will these bolt on to B5 RS4.
What BHP will a stock engine go to safely without upgrading rods etc.
Is there a need for water/meth. If so at what BHP level

These directly bolt on to both versions of the 2.7 biturbo. The kit comes with all hardware including inlet pipes. I have seen 600whp without rod failure and 450whp with rod failure. Torque is what kills rods, and anything over 450lb-ft (at wheels) below 4000rpm is getting into rod bending range. We use water/meth because our premium petrol is very low octane and quality. We have essentially stopped tuning for race gas as we can achieve peak torque timing with stock compression using the water/meth mixture. The water/meth injection is beneficial at any horsepower level in these cars as temperature control is the key to horsepower in this specific system.

Looking at the torque graph, it doesn't look like you get much below 4k rpm and it seems to come in very slowly - more like a NA car?
What does the RS6 turbos torque curve look like then?
Here's a comparison with K04's (albeit on an S4)

The chart you have shown is horsepower and torque at the crankshaft. Our chart is horsepower and torque at the wheels.

I know, but that shouldn't have much of a bearing on the shape of the torque curve??? Here is the graph from the addictmotorsport site.
