Does anyone have a figure of the annual subscription/lifetime for tracker retrieve?

In all honesty, If someone steal my RS4... I dont want it back.

It saves me £45.00/yr on insurance, and I think its £150+/yr for subscription

The device is fitted on the car

Cheers

Dave

Just been looking in to this.
This is from there web site which i think is a good price only if you want your car back. I like the bit about Duration of Ownership that not bad
Private Customer Quote
Vehicle Type: Car

TRACKER Horizon £299.00
Duration of Ownership £350.00
Installation £150.00

SUB TOTAL (inc. VAT) £799.00
Can find a price for annual subscription/lifetime for tracker retrieve but the others are about £125
Hope this helps
Jason

The lifetime subscription is only worth it if you are planning on keeping the car for an extended period.
- Also make sure you get the battery checked out on a regular basis - the earlier tracker systems batteries failed over time and didn't hold their charge as designed.

Don't even know where mine is! How would I find this out?

That's the thing you or potential crooks shouldn't know where it is - hence you have to get an engineer out to 'health check' the system. But you would be surprised how large the Nicad battery units are on earlier systems so there are only so many places that they can put them.

Effectively the battery backup should power the GPS and Radio frequency of Tracker Horizon. Cars when stolen are often moved and parked for a period of time to see if they are 'tracked' removing the cars battery forces the battery backup to alert 'power tamper'

- I had problems because I was taking my car off the road for extended periods of time and the trickle feed to the battery was not sufficient to retain the charge.

Speak to Tracker if you have a lifetime subscription to check it out every 2 or so years.....
