Radio problem

My RS4's radio is unable to receive any reception but the tape and CD works OK.

It seems to occur after I had the rear bumper repaired and opportunity rear parking sensor installed. (Wife requested!!!)

Any idea anybody.

I posted a similar problem a few months back and recommendation was to check the diversity unit (a search will find threads and photos that show where it sits etc.) In my case the input terminal had broken away form the PCB and I was able to do some soldering. You need a very small torx bit to open the unit though.

is this only on sat nav cars for TV reception?

No, even non Sat-nav cars have them

You'll find it mounted on the CD changer bracket in the boot LHS.

Right at the top, with around 4 antenna connectors going to it on one side
