You can't have anyting nice these days... came out to the car yesterday morning and some time during the night someone took the front gille (with rs4 badge in) off, screw drivered the badge off the back, snapped both mirrors off, and a wheel centre cap off!!! Some damage to surrounding paint work too...
All I can say is thank God for no claims discount protection. At least the following: partial respray on bonnet, partial respray on boot, partial respray on nearside wing, replacement mirrors, grille, badges (not getting fitted though), Full correction detail. Have the prox sensor on the car turned way up now. If a bird craps within 10 feet it'll start chirping.
If I catch whatever little pr1ck did it I'll put him in hospital for a while.

Sorry to hear that Ken. There really are some horrible little bastards out there!
A while back, I had someone put a self tapping screw into my tyre sidewall so I had to buy a new one. Wasn't like i'd pissed anyone off or anything, but some jealous swine obviously thought it was a good idea. Tyres had done less than 1000 miles as well!

Sorry to hear that Ken, "snapped both mirrors off" What is the point off "snapping" them off ? it would make them useless wouldnt it?
BTW some fecker nicked my foglight grill a few years ago making me think that it would only fit a RS4 so have the owners dipped that low

Dublin, Ireland... don't know if I'm jinxed when I change my car. Last time I had the BMW 5 days and the neighbour hit the back of it in our drive way and denied it!

Absolutely disgusted!
But not surprised the way this world is going!
A few years back I had the "R32" badge prised off my Golf R32 outside my house. Luckily no damage was done. But yours is in another league! Total pi55 take.
I really feel for you, gutted!

Sorry to hear the bad news Ken- I really feel for you- mine has also attracted the wrong kind of attention in the past- had my NS wing mirror kicked off at New Year 2007- Happy feckin New Year eh? They'd kicked it so hard it had dented the A-pillar, found it hanging/swinging against the door- nice one. Actually caught the 3 twats responsible the next night doing the same thing to other cars in the street and latterly houses as I followed them up the road pissed (them- not me)- flagged down a police car and actually caught them trying to do a house over, but the old bill were like- well if we have to book them there'll be no cover in Lympstone/Exmouth/Budleigh- and let them off...... However I did hear that at least two of the guys were caught setting about a car belonging to a Marine (their base is local) and himself and some of his buds paid 'em a visit......... Hope it was long one. Cheers Lee, Dave and Harry.

Its usually the only way to get any sort of satisfaction. They never get done.
I remember years ago (long story will try and keep it short. I arrived home from being out in the put, only had walking in the door about 20 seconds. Heard a smash and a car alarm going off, I looked out through the glass at the side of the front door and saw a little <beep> coming out of the side of my mams car window radio in hand. I ran out (he hadn't spotted me) and he and a friend walked up the end of the t junction at the top and start having a go at another car. I woke my brother up so we could go and "discuss" the errors in their ways. He grabbed an iron bar and started the car and told me to grab something. Couldn't find anything so went out the back and got the full size garden spade! As I came out of the side entrance they were casually driving around the corner in their stolen car unaware anyone was onto them.
The driver got a bit of a surprise when I javelined the garden spade at the drivers window! Missed and it broke in two off the drivers door and we went after them. Didn't catch up with them but were chatting to the police shortly afterwards for the report. "On the record" they advised us that it is not advisable to do that and go on a high speed chase. "Off the record" they told us to run them over, knock the living crap out of them, dump them over a wall and leave them for dead.... don't even bother calling them cause there is practically nothing they can do.
Guess what I'm gonna do if I catch someone at the car

answers on a postcard. No prizes

my mate had some scally put a tap on the fuel tank of his transit van a few years ago. Fuel consumption was terrible even for a transit !!!!
