Another different clutch question

I drove my first RS4 today (B5 obviously, hence why it's posted here), and I had a few questions in regards to the clutch feel. I'm coming from an S3, but I have driven a few 911s too, and most of them all have a definite take up point in the clutch, so that you can 'feel' the point where the clutch is out/in. The RS4 I drove was modified, and was running a newish clutch and a lighter weight flywheel, but I found it very hard to gauge where the clutch take up point was.

Is this normal with a stock standard RS4 (the one I'm after)? Would a lighter flywheel contribute to this?

I could imagine this setup would make for a few dicey or embarrassing moments at traffic lights/hills...

Was it an OEM RS4 clutch or an uprated paddle clutch?

It's definitely normal.
I have an Rs4 with std Clutch/Flywheel and it feels the same! ;)
