Hi everyone,

As most of you know I might be buying my RS4 back off the insurance company and if so I will be stripping it for parts.

I have had about a million people ask for bits and bobs which I don't mind but I want to be fair to all. If I do buy the car back I will let you know on this post.

Keep watching this space.

Kind Regards

Nick

I'll be interested in:

Centre console with switches
Climate panel
Ashtray
Aircon airbox assembly
Gear knob
Gear linkage
Front driveshafts
Front bearing / hub assemblies

What's the interior like? Might be interested in just the seats and door cards.

Siena.

Siena,
Nick has asked to hang fire on the 'scaveging exercise,' until he has a clear indication of what is happening with his car.

Once he knows whether he is going to have it back from the Ins co, then we can all pitch in with the requests.

Well... the latest up date is the car is a total loss but hold your horses I am still waiting to hear back for how much they will charge me!!

I will keep you posted, the way I would like to work it is as follows.

Once I have the car back in my posession I will evaluate what is salvageable and list on here waht parts I will be selling.

Please don't bombard me with emails and PM I will let you know the process.

Kind Regards

Hi everyone,

I have spoken with my insurance company regarding my RS4 and they have come back to me saying that as it is a CAT B they are not allowed by law to sell the vehicle back to me. Can any one shed some light on this, I am not looking to mend the car and put it back on the road I just want the parts off it.

Kind Regards

Nick
