Wheel Spacers

Post by S25MRS » Sat Feb 09, 2008 10:49 am

Can anyone tell me, if I were to fit 10mm wheel spacers to my RS4 (completely standard setup - wheels, susp, etc), would there be any adverse affect on handling or wheel bearings, etc?
Thinking about it to fill out the arches a tadge more - What do you think? - if anyone has any pics to let me see the 'after' affect of spacers, that would be really helpful - make sure it is how I imagine it looks :)
Also, if I were to go ahead, any recommendations on makes & longer bolts/cost please?
Thanks folks

Can sometimes affect the camber, but this can be rectified with a modification. You'll need to get longer wheel nuts too.

I'm using 15mm spacers which are the proper hubcentric type.

Car looks superb. No adverse effects so far!!!

Edited to say stick with either H&R or Eibach IMO

Do the likes of H&R or Eibach also supply longer bolts to match aswell, or need to source these from elsewhere?
So, 10mm or 15mmm......mmmm?

I bought my H&R items from Motorsport Tuning, and they had the longer bolts in stock.

Go 15mm IMO, looks perfect, and no rubbing even when fully loaded
