Hi,

i got a Milltek dual system and cats fitted to my RS4.
As there are no certificats for this exhaust my car failed its anual controle technique, something like an MOT but then on Belgium.
Normally the exhaust has to be removed. Because i don't want to change the cats again i want to know if the originall cat back system fits the Milltek cats? It's a lot easyier to change just de back system in sted off the whole system. As i want to change this every year.

Nobody knows?

Why not give Milltek Sport a ring on 0044 1332 227 280. I've phoned them a few times and they are extremely helpful.

I have a RS4 standard back box on a Milltek system but this was fitted by the previous owner. I believe it has been modifiied to fit.

sorry to jump on the back of your thread,but i live in france and am thinking of fitting milltek cat back system; why exactly did yours fail,have you removed the cats as well.

No i din't remove them at all, i changed them for the Milltek cats.
In Belgium there is this stupid rule that an aftermarket exhaust for a car after 2000 has to have a homologation certificat

do you think this is more to do with the miltek cats,or is it exhausts in general.dont surpose you know if the french have any beefs about exhausts; i was only changing the exhaust not the cats;any advice gladly before i waste a wedge.

well they sell the cats seperately and the Miltek exhausts fit OEM cats so I would be surprised if they (miltek( didn't fit OEM exhausts. they certainly fit the OEM exhausts for teh 1.8t
