Nice end to the year !

Hi , and merry xmas to use all,

well being a previous owner of a (b5) s4 , which i did enjoy but deep down i always really wanted the rs4,so i sold it over about a year ago with my goal set to fund and source one.. i have looking around for the right car for me for over a year now , and finally i am soon to be another proud owner of a stunning b5 rs4, in missano red, which i colllect on sunday, 8) ,, travelling around 280 miles to collect so the drive home is
something i am well looking forward to!

Congratulations, I know the anticipation before picking one of these up as I just did the same a few weeks back :-) I am not generally a fan of red cars but I have to say the MR has really grown on me... a very complimentary colour for this car, and to me yet still is a nice understated look..enjoy

Congrats! You'll miss the low end torque of your S4, however the RS4 is just like being in another world. Enjoy!

Welcome and congrats on the car. By far the fastest colour and certainly turns heads...

i had noticed it later on but couldnt change it.... thought I may get away with it ..... for an hour or so!!
I have lived up here since 1975 with 15 years in the Navy taking me worldwide... but Scotland is where I left it!!

any phots please quattro999 once you get it home and polished

so thats now 5 B5 's up here I know of... time for a B5 r/v I recon?

up here in perthshire/ tayside,

mine to be also has the painted mirror covers which i wasn`t sure about!, but after seing yours dace ,well it looks ace, 8) great pic.

i believe norrs2 is in this area, but never seen it around,or any to be honest, their a bit like hens teeth, but thats what i like about it rare and stunning looks, :oops:

Yes, I'm in the area, but more over to the centre of Perthshire, north of Callander. My car is frequently (well once a week at least) heading towards Grangemouth on that road. Like you, I've never actually met another B5 in the last year.

Hope you enjoy your new purchase and that we get the chance to meet up sometime! :thumb:

, :D wot can i say its a very nice feeling knowing i now also like use guys own one of these rare and awesome cars,

thoroughly enjoyed the drive home, although rained most of the journey, well i`m very impressed and pleased with my new toy,,
although its more brownish red than i would like but i will soon sort that out ,time to dig out the good cleaning goods!.. pics will follow :D :D

like you quattro999, I've just recently purchased a B5 RS4; 15 December to be exact, and what a machine it is!! still enjoying mine VERY much - although not had time to gather some pics yet...

16 days into ownership and NO phots yet... shame on you :thumbsdown:

perhaps it isnt misano red? :bigblink:
