hmm????

there was a photo of Audi's collection of rare cars taken by David Corfield of "Total Audi" fame... in that was an imola yellow RS4 with black roof rails and darkened wheels just like the colour of the RS6 Plus wheels with no mileage on it....
was there EVER a STILLBORNE RS4 PLUS but wasnt released? :sekret:

p.s nice car pictured above!!!

No, they've been stripped and the outer lip and basket have been polished or maybe chrome plated.
Looks stunning though..... :nodder:

well... I subscribed to that as well!! He has gone quiet for a while after saying he had found another publisher... I am sure he has lost more personally than we lost 40 odd quid or whatever it was.

Pity really because it could have had potential.

not going to thread drift so back to that gorgeous RS4

Only seen 1 and that was at the Geneva motorshow when it was launched.

I have a 1/43 scale so its as close as I'll get to having one.

They definitely seem to be chrome plated, as polishing would just require a stupid amount of time and elbow grease to keep them up to that standard!

IMO this is the only RS4 I like with LM's. The others just look too plain.

take a look on the above mentioned owners site, there are some SERIOUSLY nice looking RS4s with LMs.
I think the black roof bars and body colour mirrors really work well on the above picture taking away that too much "brushed aluminum" look

Been there quite a while ago!

The only other one that is slightly appealing is the Avus one with the B7 dual tailpipe exhaust

yeah that one has had some major work done in the boot for that. Apparantly the exhaust just looks like the B7 RS4s from the rear ,underneath its an elongated box with two outlets
