Leaking ScreenWash Reservoir

Any views on removing or replacing the screenwash reservior. Or getting to inspect the various connections. Is it straightforward, and how best to do it?

I have just failed to top it up! Fluid is running right out as fast as I can fill. It is running out of the louvre vents in the wheelarch liner and over the tyre. And still the low level warnoing light is on.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards, ... Paul.

This is a very common fault on the S4's and RS4's. Do a search as there's loads of info on this.

After you do the search you will find out that getting to the washer pump is PITA - but it can be done, even by less mechanically inclined people like me. You need to remove the wheel and wheel liner. Here are the instructions just in case you had trouble finding it yourself:

The article is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

My initial searches found very little of help (before my first posting) but with encouragement and being a bit more creative on the search topics I had got to the point where I knew the article was out there, and was just about to go to Audiworld when your reply came in.

As to getting on with the job now, ... it'll have to wait until a slightly drier day.
