hi everyone u may remember me as rs4steve "steve fitz" had a MTM 458 RS4 B5 same time as some of elder more established members who went on to lighter more nimbler marks as bmw's porcshes etc, while i went back to the old sierra cosworth shortly after was sold, then went on to buy an escort cosworth which i entered into a sprint/circuit racing challenge called Timeattack (timeattack.co.uk),come 4th overall in clubclass 2006,this year managed a measley 1 point due to reliabilty issues.

Over the last month or so a car came up for purchase i should say most of u know the car, from the castlecombe saloon championship as keith murray's dialynx a4 1.8t rs4 bodied audi, the car was orginally built with a rs4 engine in mind for hillclimbing, deposit is down and its going back to its original purpose but tobe used in the timeattack series engine will be producing a reliable 400-450bhp with the car weighing in at 1170kg with the 1.8t engine, car will be ready late december debut will be at donny 27th, hope you will all support me in 2008, thanks steve

Hi Steve,

We remember you, I think about our discussions each time we visit Castle Combe  I still have my silver B5 S4 BTW.

Anyone who has been to Audi Driver knows Keith's car too, you can expect plenty of support of course

David

I wonder why no one really mentions Dialynx when it comes to tuning RS4's?
They seem to be like the Audi equivalent of Manthey Racing for Porsche.
If they can do that to a 1.8t, what kind of figures must they be able to get from the RS4's motor!
Great to have a UK based company with race prep expertise, might be paying them a visit!

I watched this car at last years Audi Driver track-day, frightingly quick! it was without doubt the quckest thing on the track by a mile! Spitting huge flames to boot! :FIREdevil: The rate that it covered ground was unbelieveable, it made the RS4's look slow.
I think they were having some trouble this year with the signal to the throttlebody..... was a real pity not to see it out on the track.

hi it certainly is always wanted to approach dialynx but was afraid of how much they would be hitting me in the pocket, but im certainly impressed with keith's setup and his quality of workmanship value for money is top dollar :D

Hey mate, good to see you on the site again - hope ur keeping well.

Another project for Time Attack :D I know when I was speaking to keith back in 2003 he was hoping for a 600bhp from his rs4 mods - should be reliable too

Funny thing is, my other thread (If MRC..) is going down similar lines for the Time Attack TOTB etc. Hoping MRC's 3.0ltr will do the job nicely but in an avant. May even see you at the events next year if the budget stacks up mate,

Cheers,
Andiroo
