Finally bit the bullet today and managed to get myself to MRC for cat back Miltek, Gutted pre-cats and a custom remap.

Needless to say the journey home was entertaining with me grinning most of the way back!

Awesome improvement and highly recommend the service received by the chaps at MRC.

The RS4 now sounds & feels how Audi should've made it

It's a bit of a transformation to say the least !

How does the gutted pre cats and miltek cat back compare to say a full milltek 100cel cats and backbox? In terms of sound a performace, the milltek full system seems alot at £2200 alone.

does anyone have any vids of the set ups?

Not sure how Doug would price it, the remap & miltek were £1450 and for the gutted pre-cats it was just labour time @ 6.5hrs which was in the region of £400, well worth it though in my opinion.

Polish secretary was not there, if I'd have known Doug was getting a new secretary I'd have waited

I'm considering asking MRC to do at least a custom re-map and Miltek and possibly gutted pre-cats but I've got the Audi warranty so keep umming and arring as to whether I should do it or not.

Does gutting the pre-cats affect the emissions to make it fail an MOT?

Mine still has 9 months Audi warranty too, everything is still valid they just don't cover the items changed!!

The RS4 does not need the pre-cats to pass the MoT so removing them makes no odds to the emissions test

what power do you think i'll have on my rs4 with full milltek plus decat and MRC custom remap?

doug said it should be in the high 400's,anybody else got the same mods as me and had their car rolling roaded?

been trying to get it booked back into MRC for the rs6 turbos and tubular manifolds,but doug has not got back to me yet

Went to a rolling road after every mods i did.

MRC remap+ Milltek back box only = 414.5 bhp.

MRC remap+ Milltek back box + Sportec Grill ( no fog lights)+ gutted precats = 433 Bhp....

I can say gutted precats is a very good mod, worth doing it
