Post by itaplikeabiatch » Fri Aug 03, 2007 1:18 pm

my driver side floor mat has got a hole in it and i need a new mat.

i did a search of the old threads and came across this one that had a link to a german website
http://www.skiba-tuning.de/index2.html

but no english.

can anyone direct me in the direction of these floor mats?

if i recall there was a group buy or something on these mats in various colours.

I got my online from autostyle:

Cheap as chips, IIRC about £65, good quality, but you have to do a bit of work transferring your clips over from your old mats.

I know I'm swimming against the tide, but I went for plain black, no logos. IMHO, there are enough RS logos on the car already.

SKIBA buys from HOICA these mats especially the logo are the same style as mine! But why not buying them from the manufacturer? They will be cheaper, cause Skiba will also get some money for that transaction.

LOL, if you're looking at the floor to find out what car your driving it's game over anyway. I love the RS4 logo, as you can see from my avatar, and it's each to their own, but I'm taking the less is more stance on this one.

Why on earth would you want that logo in your face when in the cabin. I like just plain bacl or grey mats for mine looks neat enough. Reminds me of the old XR2 or GTI logos that went accross the side of the car on the lower panels on the hot hatches in the 80's, avaiable at halfords.

Looks cheap to me.

PM Brooner he got a set for me when he orderd for himself from Euro supplier but you'll have to wait at least 3-4weeks. The Autostyle mats are pretty good but the logo isn't quite right and don't have the OEM holes.

Note - The Euro ones are jet black. I didn't realise Audi's interior is more like a VERY dark grey. The difference is marginal and didn't bother me. But at least one of the lads on here didn't want/like the slight difference.

Are our cars black or anthracite? Tell me about the clip work.

Ordered mine from Sabine Holtz via Ebay, 8 weeks later the wrong ones arrived. Doesn't reply to emails (She has at least 4 accounts). Now having to claim via eBay buyer protection. This is just my experience, but thought it might help in your decision.

Cheers

Grant
