I thought I recognised the number plate. I've seen it parked up at the side of the road in North Camp. A while back it had a for sale sign in the window.

Unfortunately I don't know anything more about the car. I did notice the other day the front driver side wheel had a fair amount of what looked like curb rash but I was only driving past. It looks nice otherwise, but then most cars do without looking too close...

Its probably been for sale for a couple of months now so they maybe keen for a deal...

Thats the one........it has been up for sale but not on the trader so obviously not much response - will see how it looks tonight (I know it needs a cambelt and service but if we can come to a deal I should be in an RS4 soon!)

Well I went to see it tonight

Really tidy example with piles of paper work

It had a new clutch at about 40K and a new gear box at 20K or so........I dont see this as a problem.

Needs an MOT - so have asked him to do that and a check at audi to highlight any issues - if big problems then no go, if not then I have agreed to buy it

Hes not on here, infact doubt he even uses the internet. Its been a Martins of Basingstoke car since day 1 - so willl probably service it there too.

Seemed very tidy in and out, not a smoker, tyres fine, brakes seem fine - unsure when next service due but not yet hes only done 5k since the last one a year ago

Has it got a full history? Belt change @ 40k?

Outstanding work on it now sounds like they might be keen to sell!
