Pics of my Denim Blue B5 RS4

As requested by Simon here are some images of my Denim Blue RS4.
It is apparently one of 2 in UK, first supplied by Aston Green Audi in Berks, other one is in North Herts so I have been informed.
I'm not a big fan of privacy glass but it doesn't look too bad so will leave it. It's had a 428bhp MTM conversion by qst with Milltek and also has a short shift.
Spec is technical fabric/leather (the fabric is amazingly grippy!), Symphony upgrade, sunroof, centre armrest. It also has hard wheels with 4 x F1s. The brakes were brand new when I bought it which was a bonus as £1500 for parts alone is crazy!
I've fitted 710Ns and a new genuine MAF and it does a typical FATS of 3.7 and peak MAF of 345 g/s, and has no fault codes coming up.
Only problem is cam cover leak on offside (groan) which I'll be fixing very soon.
I've always wanted one and have not been disappointed.

Looks Superb Andrew. I like the colour.

Condition looks great too.

Are you coming to Donington on the 24th? If so I'll see it then??

Condition isn't too bad, some stonechips near back edge of rear doors (it's done 60k) and a some crappy smart repairs to the wheels, touch up and refurb respectively will sort those - it was sold as an approved used car by an Audi dealer (hence the "seriously on the way out" MAF :bash: )
Business permitting I will indeed be at Donni so look forward to seeing you there.
I wont be taking to the track however as my life wont be worth living if I smack this into the barriers at the bottom of the craners!
I may make the 'ring mid April too, you going?

Good stuff mate. See you there then.

Mine has a fair few stonechips that I need to fix, but then it's done 95K. My wheels could do with a refurb too, not sure whether to do that or get some 19's. No rush.

Can't make the ring in April as it clashes with a snowboarding holiday. Hopefully there will be another ring trip later in the year and I might make that, we'll see.

Did you take the photos with the car cold, as the Miltek should almost be flush with the rear bumper when cold, but it expands by around 40mm after a good run.

Colour looks like Noggy in some of the pics, but I likey a lot!

Cheers lengster - not an easy car to replace is it?
Nige, car was coldish yes.
I thought it stuck out to avoid heat distorting the bumper..?

I did think it looked like Noggy in pics but that's just the flash, far more restrained, honest!

Lovely motor  always liked Denim Blue :beerchug:

I also happen to be a fan of Met Blues - I also have a rare colour (Santorini Blue - "little" bit darker than yours). Will also be at Donington -
Look forward to seeing you there

Thanks Norrs2, I can't picture Santorini Blue, sounds rarer than Denim Blue as DB is pretty common on TT and A4.
One question - do you have a paintcode on the sticker on the first page of service book? Mine didn't (the sticker is there but code is oddly absent) so I had to ring my dealer with the VIN and they had to contact Audi technical support who eventually found out what it was.

Haven't noticed yet, but I'll check - I do think it does though. Santorini rarer? There's is another on here but I've heard there's 4 in total, but I don't know if that's 4 in UK. Other owner on here was told by Audi that his was one of only 2 in UK.

Mine:-

Looks the puppies mate, congrats. Spent ages trying to find a black or blue one but hey you cant have everything  I'm loving the look of that Milltek. My next purchase ! What type is it a catback/resonated etc? Interested to know what the sound tracks like? To old to be a boy racer with to much boom boom going on :)

If you ever have a bad day or moment of madness and want to sell, let me know !

Cheers

We checked with Miltek prior to fitting the exhaust to my car - apparently it needs to be flush with the bumper when cold to avoid hitting the driveshaft or something when it warms up and expands. If you don't have this problem, then I wouldn't be too bothered about it.

The bumper distortion problem is on the RS6 AFAIK.
