was driving my baby then came to stop at a traffic light, just touched the brake pedal and it was like am flooring it and felt the shake of the ABS.
after 1 minute was driving in straight line again and worse without me touching the brake pedal the car came to full stop with ESP flashing, was not speeding or doing anything, no rain nothing.
was really scared thank God no 1 was behind.
turned off the car start it again drove back home nothing..

Will maybe a dirty or a faulty ABS sensor.

Have you had any suspension work done recently or brake work done?

Or maybe just got some dirty on them?? Have a look at the sensors or the dirty may just clear out itself.

Mine did this after I fitted my coilovers.

Cheers.

Could be the cause.

If it was just some dirt on the sensor it may have been blown off now. I would not worry too much as its just the pedal bouncing.

If it keeps happening get the garage to check it out.

Are you saying the car braked by itself?

If it did, I wouldn't hesitate in getting your car checked out. Dirt
