ELITE-SPORTWAGON, Sirnach Switzerland - any experiences??
Hi All,
Just wondering if any of the european/swiss members have had any experience with this car dealer, or know if theyare they part of the same group as elite garage Zug?
I only ask because i have seen 2 cars on the site and for the KMS the price is good - they might be clocked tho!

RE: ELITE-SPORTWAGON, Sirnach Switzerland - any experiences
The Elite Family, is basically Elite Sirnach and Elite Zuzwil, both run completely independently, but brothers I think that have somewhat lost touch to each other or so I was told.
Bought mine at Elite Zuzwil, seemed competent. I know a couple of other people who have also bought cars there. Absolutely no complaints on their service. Actually, I thrust that when they say an RS4 is ok, than they know what they are talking about, much more than the average audi dealer. In the crazy years, it seems Elite Zuzwil has imported 250 RS4s as parallel imports as the quota reserved for CH was too low. I understand that lots of their customers keep coming back 1-3 times per year to swap cars - if that's true, than it is only because of the reputation! And I believe it very well might be true, because with a location at the end of the (Swiss) world like they have, nobody just bumps by...
Can't say much about Elite Sirnach, except from having been there once to look around. Might be similar effect like above.

RE: ELITE-SPORTWAGON, Sirnach Switzerland - any experiences
hi mate,
thanks for the info, i have been speaking with a few people this week and everyone said to stay away from elite! They have a bad reputation when it comes to fixing anything and they have been a few times on a consumer watchdog programme, I found out that someone i know had to go to an advocat for elite to fix his car after it failed the MFK ( MOT) .
i did see one at an audi dealer today tho.....

Nice to see some Swiss drivers here,
I own a B5 S4, and own VAG-Com, Plus trying to get ECU explorer up and running for some logging etc.
Will be upgrading to a RS4 in around 6 months or so, then the wife will have my S4.
Would be great to catch up with fellow S4 /RS4 drivers.
Cheers
Steve

hi steve, i have halted my search as i couldnt find many good examples in my area - i suggest you really search hard and if there is even the slightest doubt about anything with the car just walk away!
It really is a buyers market and there are plenty for sale in CH.
On autoscout at the moment there are 139 for sale!!!

Don is right. The two Elite joints are run by brothers - as he says they clashed and started out their own thing at some point. The Zuzwil shop is run by the father/son pair.RS4black wrote:

Bought or helped buying a few cars from Elite Zuzwil (2 RS4, 1 S4, 1 M3) when I lived in Switzerland and never had an issue with them -- on the contrary. They've once lent me an S4 for a couple of weeks to spend Christmas in Switzerland.
Unless someone has tangible facts to report, this bad reputation is a pile of b/<beep> imho

the one guy i know who had to go to an advocat and start court action for them to fix the car under the warranty they offered.
the tv spot consumer programme (like watchdog in the UK) had many similar stories.
the woman who bought a mini cooper from them, took it for a service then after the service the original chrome JC works exhaust had dissapeared and a normal exhaust in its place

But if you had a good experience then thats fine and hope that the people who go there have the same fortune. For me I have heard far too many horror stories so even think of looking there.
but one thing does stick in my mind - i saw quite a few adverts from them and noticed that for the KMS and age of the car they were cheaper than anywhere else - the alarm bells started to ring!
