What's happening ? (help!)

First of all apologise for my english, hope what I am about to describe is clear.....
I just received my RS4 from a (long life) service visit to the Audi dealer. I now notice that, when stepping on the throttle all the way down, the car tends to take more time to develop - and sometimes even starts to "stagnate" - than if I lift up my foot a bit from the throttle (imagine to a level where it is 90-95% down).

In addition to this, I get the feeling that now the engine makes a bigger effort to reach high revs....

Is this me just imagining things, or could the dealer have messed up any engine tunning ?

I think I would need your help on assessing the possible default (or not), before I go and bomb the dealer, as I am quite annoyed with this situation.

many thanks,

Francisco

Sounds like a pipe has come off, or maybe one of the bypass valves has failed. I would take it back to the dealer ASAP.

its like spaghetti in there it could be any of the hoses take a look around all you can do is make sure they're all securely fastened to their joining pipes and not loose, then if that does not cure it go back to the dealer

I'd go with Nige's advice.

Also, if you can find anyone with VAGCOM just to check for error codes, but most of the time a faulty diverter valve or loose pipe won't register a code.

If it is a faulty pipe/valve, normally the only way to detect is to do a pressure/leak test. I don't hink this is something the dealerships can do but the independents can.
