60 mph to 125 mph?

i know i can achieve 0-60 in4.2 secs, so just as a guide the new rs4 does 0-125 mph in approx 17 secs. driving through 60 in third gear, turbos on full boost, i reached 125 in 9.89, 9.87 and 9.92 seconds, adding the two figures together at best = 0- 125 mph in 14.07 seconds, is this a good measure of performance?

no 30-130 is! norris designs evo did it in 6.5 secs
iirc you ran low 13's at gti? what was your terminal speed? ie 0-110mph in 13.3secs you'd be looking at roughly 3 secs to get to 125mph. to do 0-125mph in 14.07 you must be hitting 100mph in around 9 secs then! the new rs4 does it in 10.4secs according to evo mag.

i was running 460 bhp at gti international when i did two runs, the first showing 13.32 as above at 109.83 mph, the second run blew the gearbox, which is why i didn't do the 0-60 mph element of this test as you do have to be a bit brutal at launch!!!! i am now running 517 bhp after fitting new miltek 100 cell cats, new miltek dual exhaust, front mounted intercooler and blue-printed standard turbo's,the car is now vastly quicker and i am confident of my times! regards steve

why didn't you say you had 517bhp
i now believe your times! btw your 1/4 was 13.12
