Car healthchck

Took my car to AmD yesterday for a healthcheck and rolling road session. They found a few things wrong with it, mainly some seals leaking on the diffs, gearbox, split cv boot and more worryingly the rocker cover seal is leaking oil, so the breather pipes are chocked.

Also the MAF sensor was shot so it was about 40bhp down on power, and there were a few flat spots which I noticed. I would recommend everyone having their car health-checked as most of these items should have been spotted at the last service inspction. Graham

unfortunatley most stealers dont always look for probs that tuners see everyday. so yes a health check is a very good idea but not at a main stealer..well i wouldnt go there for 1 anyways..

The cost was £117 inc VAT and this included the checks and a rolling road session. Took about 3 hours in total.
