Newbie question

Post by DannyB » Thu Mar 30, 2006 8:47 am

Hi Guys,
I've done the Scooby & Evo thing and am now after a nice RS4 as my next ride.
Ideally it should have less than 60k on the clock, as many options as possible and a full audi service history. Is is possible to pickup such a car for about £22k as that is my budget?

Thanks very much
Dan

I have been looking at the for sale section for a while now and have never spotted on priced below £22k. Are there any other good resources online for buying an RS4 ?

Phew I'm glad you've never seen a less than 60K full spec RS4 for approx £22K. While I haven't looked for a long time I was thinking they are still up around the £25-26 mark?

All you have to do is the search the usual Autotrader, Exhange and Mart on here just a general google search.

Feck I've just been Autotrader - 27 RS4s I've never seen so many! Mind you looks like you'll have to put a few grand to your budget. Then again with so many to choose from peoplke might drop their price too - good Luck I'm keeping mine... probably forever - as the B7 just doesn't cut it enough for me to swap.

I have just bought a Green RS4 from a dealer on Auto Trader, with Sat- Nav/TV, Sunroof with Leather Hi-TEch for £22K. 79,000 miles though. Awesome car, I love it. I am fairly (new to the forum and may need some advice on getting the wheels changed, they are in pretty poor shape, Kerbing etc).
Good luck in your search. Graham

Welcome cpt splash and congrats on the car - you can get the wheels refurb by any number of places or look for the thread on which alloy wheels are the best on the B5. Its only a couple down from this one. That'll give you some popular ideas.

I recently sold mine for 21,750 - so what you're looking for isn't unachievable. Mine had 64k miles on I think and a custom remap.

Thanks Guys, I'll keep looking at around the £22k mark as I can't justify spending anymore on what will be six year old car if I get an X or Y reg model.
