Got my RS4 back today having had a full set of Powerflex Bushes fitted by Dialynx and I have to say I'm amazed at the difference its made to the handling. It feels like a different car.

Now I know some of my rear bushes were shot and so the handling had probably been a bit wooly before but its now so taught and sharp I can't believe its just the bushes that have been replaced. There is a little more bounce now on undulating motorways but on A roads and back roads its just so much better. Ride is now slightly firmer, which I was trying to avoid, but I guess you have to pay some price here for a sharper handling set up, which I now have.

If you don't have these and you want to tighten things up a bit then I would certainly recommend them as a very cost effective modification.

Any change in road noise.......... tried some in my UR quattro and eventually removed them and fitted OEM rubber jobbies as there was to much noise coming into the car?

Nope, no change in road noise Simon. Certainly rides a little harsher but still well within what I would consider comfortable. Don't want to turn it into an out and out track car like my old S3, which I spoilt as a road car to be honest, but it needed something to pep up the handling and I'm pretty happy with the results at the moment.

This should take you where you need to go. Cost is £320 for the full kit. I sourced mine from DaveP who had a new, unused set so I didn't pay that Keith reckons its at least a 10 hour fitting job. The rears are a nightmare apparently, with a lot coming off before the bushes can be fitted (propshaft and all sorts) Fronts are less troublesome. I got mates rates again so no point telling you what I paid but it wasn't 10 hours at the hourly rate Then the car needs 4 wheel alignment - £80 at Swindon Car & Truck Alignment Centre.

Hopefully you can work out costs for yourself. I could have fitted some of the bushes myself but not all and to be honest I didn't have the time or workshop ramps!!! I would imagine it would be around £800 at full price depending on where/who fits

Thanks for this info! I`ve been posting the question about anyone experienced powerflex on the rs4 a while ago.. I`ll have my order for powerflex done by tomorrow !!
