This rs4 thig is all your fault !!! ever since being in your old one i still have a hankering after one , the kids say there is more room in the back of the csl and they are nagging for a scooby, apparantly there is quite a nice blue t25 fore sale somewhere!! The rs4 is interesting because i could save some money as its a cheaper car.
I think the csl i an top car and i am chuffed i have had the oportunity to own one , but when i have issues with my back i struggle getting in and out of it due to the edge of the seats , the other problem is her indoors wont drive it at all now after intialy finding it fine to drive she is scared of taking it out know in case she kerbs a wheel or scrapes it , which is my fault i suppose.
I have found out the car was from shetland , would have thought they would not have had the roads there to use a car like this , that said they probably have not got any speed cameras either !

Have you checked with JohnW on the RS4 register for any details on the car in question
.....and I remember when you bought the CSL and your issue about space in the rear of the RS4 vs CSL....simply the difference being the upright nature/orientation of the CSL seats AND you with a dodgy back too....not a match made to last

. The missus not wanting to drive the car, sounds very familiar.
Do what I did get an RS4 with entertainment for rear passengers and keep the kids happy, while you're having fun too, its very effective. I recall having a blast with a 996 4S whilst the RS4 was loaded with a huge TV tied down in the boot and the kids playing PS2 games, didn't notice a thing....magic

;...same couldn't be said of the kids in the 996 though

Once i'm in the car the seats are actualy fine , when i get a spell when it's playing up it's getting in and out is the major problem , i probably should not have bought it but i could not find exacly what i wanted rs4 wise and the csl came up and i drove it and that was the end of it, that said i did find one rs4 which fitted the bill perfectly but could not get rid of my wr1 at the time fast enough for the right money and that was mog's car .
All i have to do now is find a home for the csl and start on the rs4 hunt again ! main problem will be tearing the boys off the csl they treat it as theirs.

I have had the same experience Keith.....
Made one drive in an RS and it never left my mind
In the meantime i bought 3 different hot hatches but was never really satisfied, until i made the decision to finally buy my own RS4 (also a noggy one

)
This car will stay!!

I guess Brooner and I could give it a good going over on your behalf if you were really really interested but didn't want the risk of wasted trip.

If the car is from shetland that explains the low mileage.
Had alook at it yesterday it looks a minter Keith.
Piped look standard and no mention of mtm chip.

Hi,
I am a new user to this site. I took the Nogaro Blue RS4 for a test drive today and it seemed fine. Nice noise(now explained by reference above to aftermarket exhaust). It was quick but I would doubt that it has been chipped to 450BHP! I am looking to buy an RS4 and replace my 430BHP 993TT for reasons of space. Apparently car is going to get extensive brake work carried out. Only isue I saw was that it is registered April 2001 and it's first recorded Audi service is 3 years later at 16.5K miles.
Possibly explained by car residing in Shetland, but a little concering for a twin turbo car.
