New turbo kit GT25r>> 630 WHP and 700++ HTQ

Well

It looks like our beloved motor has a new upgrade which consists basically on the adaptation of the garrett turbos with bigger injectors.

No need to open the engine.

Have a look here:

Bollocks!!!

No Upgraded Piston / Rods / Cams / Head work etc, put this in your car and 1 month later BANG!

Huge Turbo Boost and a ECU Program doesn't cut it for me!

And if thats the Dyno Graph, a few mini spikes in there compaired to the smooth stock graph.

Main concern would be the engine holding up to the extra boost!

Think the setup is very cool. But I agree boost seems high on stock compression ratio even with the stronger head bolts. Think I would use the kit on an RS4 engine or lower the compression to be safe. I wonder who did the mapping....

What do you mean? been where?
I guess stevo is underestimating the pottencial of our cars. Let 's see what happens.
It was as partnership with APR.

Sorry, did not realise that. I guess just swapping the turbos would make a dif. since you will put more boost inside. I say that because the ECUs are not the same spec we have in Europe (Brasil).

Stevo: I dont know what you mean by stock graph but the one I've seen was another kit against GT25 kit. the other line was smoothed as they usually are. the gt25 graph was as dynoed w/o smoothing.

I dont think APR has anything to do with that code. It was done in NJ locally by European Performance Labs (EPL) and Mark.

No, it was done by Mark@ASP in New Jersey. I agree though. 26-28 Psi on a stock motor wouldn't be terribly long for this world would it? without upgraded rods/pistons and a little compression lowering aren't you asking for trouble?
