I am from the philippines and over here i am the only one rs4. now here is the problem i need to charge my plugs and they only have in the delaer this plugs 101000063AA i know this plugs are used in the s4 can i use this on my rs4 its a 2001 the right plugs i need is 101000063AC but i need to use the car and there is no other plugs here but the one for the s4 can i use it has any one used this plugs hope some one can give me insite to my problem in advance thanks a million for the help and info

Sorry I don't know, but you could try contacting NGK or any other plug manufacturer to see who makes a plug for the RS4. I'll bet they're cheaper!

Standard plugs are good for standard usage.

If you drive the car keeping the engine revolution higher than standard, you should select higher heat range (colder type) spark plugs.
If you drive the car gently always in lower engine revolution range, you can use lower heat range (hotter type) spark plugs.
My RS4 has re-mapped ECU and has around 440ps crankshaft output (It means more fuel burns and engine temperature tends to be higher than standard),
so I selected IK24, one rank colder than recommended IK22. Both plugs were trouble-free in my RS4, but I have no experience with IK20 in my car.
I suppose that you can use IK20 if you do not use the engine keeping revolution high for long period, but RS4 is not such a car as you know.
If I had stock RS4, I would not select IK20 but order IK22 and wait.

I better get the ik22 or if they have it the ik24 i will just have to order it from hong kong as here in the philippines they dont have those type of plug only one available here is the ik20 but any way great to realy have this forum to get help from fellow rs4 lovers any guy a merry cristmas to you all from the philippines

Great info, is there a part number for the spark plug IK 24 for the RS4?

How much did RS4s sell for in Japan? What is the approx used price now?

i dunno, i always thought that the japanese like all countries would want to protect their own car industry, thus placing high tariffs, import duties and taxes on foreign made cars.

if you were to get a 6 cylinder twin turbo, wouldn't the skyline be the obvious choice in japan?
