Is not only the M3's that have engine problems.
That piston seems to me that suffered too much boost pressure or the AFR was too lean (overheating).
How is the weather in PT? I have some info about soft M3 vs RS4 sportec stage2.

I called them and the RS4 has been sold. It was a cambelt issue. Couple of bend valves and one broke off. which means you need one piston, cylinderhead and a bunch of valves.
This car is ....was a bargain..... I'd bought it straight away.... MTM Racing clutch and gearbox.. !!!

same thing happened to mine cost £12k to put right

that´s alot of money to put it down on the road again. How many miles did your car have when the engine died?

It's around 3K if you do it yourself.

Well there was a small matter of changing the heads and converting to 520 bhp by MTM
