An RS4 would be slower, heavier and the handling would be worse I assume ? Why would you wanna swap if you just finish building it ? Is it the pure beauty and pride of driving some decent german engineering. ;-) Or the stealth factor ?? Just curious....
Never enough...

Dave, I tune Supras as a sideline. It has been a bit of a demo car. The problem is that my proper job is changing and I really never get the chance to use her, which seems criminal.

Not too sure about the engineering comment, you guys would weep if you know what a 2jz Supra engine will take.

The reasoning behind an RS4 is simple really. Love the understated looks, I have 2 kids, so the the whole package would be more usable for me.

I think a well sorted RS4 would be just as fun and a stage 3 just as quick

I think you are mad ;)

I watched the video of the stage 3 against an E39 M5. My car will do 0-190mph in 1.25 miles. Do you that a stage 3 will live with that?

What did you expect?!?!? :D - You can't post "anyone fancy swapping an RS4 for something a bit more tangy" and expect RS4 owners/enthusiasts to be overwhelmed by an imported Supra..... Don't get me wrong, I'm not belittling your car, but it would be a losing battle to explain to us what tangy means. Audi drivers, in general, don't do tangy.

Phil, I thought my post was respectful, if it hasnt been taken that way the I am sincerely sorry. At the end of the day Tangy equates to faster. I am sure the RS4 does many things better than a Supra.

Just to let you know, your post wasn't taken that way (by me at least !) - hopefully (as you're new to the forum) you haven't taken the above posts too seriously, as I'm pretty sure they weren't meant that way...we're generally a friendly bunch honest!

As for tangy...I've seen a few RS4's with 'tangy' modifications... ;-)

No apology required vortex, it's all in jest. Welcome to the forum and good luck in your hunt for beast. :jump_clap:

PS if your looking a seriously tweaked RS4 500+ I believe one of the not so frequent members on here is considering selling. It’s got barely 15K miles on the clock the last I knew!
