I know that you like a lot the KKK turbos, but still there are new options coming to the market. They flow a lot more air, and it is said to reach easilly 540 HPs. Costs are not bad.

This is absolutely relevant.
A contact for engine removal and off the shelf 540 turbo upgrades is the way forward with these cars.
It is inevitable we will all need new turbos at some point doing the home work long in advance will pay dividends.
Can we try to surmise who what how much from different chains and come to conclusions on here.
If possible lets discuss the ko4 blue print option.

@G: wait till I get my RS4 engine with tubular EMs, K16/24s, dual 3" exhaust with zee special tricks, FMIC, water injection and stuff... should be fun. IMHO Garrett turbos are not good on Audi engines, not enough time to discuss this here and now (too much stuff going on in Belgium) but hopefully I'll be able to do so soon.
