Hi All,
Just had the cambelt changed at 40K last week and yesterday I got a low oil level warning.
Before I lay in to the dealer, does the oil have to be drained to do the cambelt or is this just a coincidence??
Cheers
John

RE: Quick question re cambelt change
If it was part of service I would take it back.
Generaly the oil is left alone, remove the under tray a check the level sensor if the problem continues.

RE: Quick question re cambelt change
depends on how you do it...
I had my cam belt changed at 40k (on the dot) but the dis was still saying another 2k til the next service was due so I left the oil and spark plugs etc until then and spread the cost of the bill over a couple of months.
Looks like ill be doing the same 80k aswell as I only have 7k more to do and there is still 10k left on the dis.
