Just sold my RS4 to a main Audi dealership this evening after lots of bids from franchised and non-franchised garages

Bitter sweet moment as the RS4 was easily the best car i have owned to date......but i am hooked on getting a 911,so it had to go.

Like to thank everyone involved with running this fantastic site
Starting to sound like an Oscar acceptence speach....so i will shut up
Cheers fc

Shame you had to sell it.......... lucky as I am, have been able to keep mine and buy a 911 and have to say they are so different but if both are sitting fueled and ready to go, the RS goes every time :biggrin3:

Good luck with it Frank, you've got the roads for it. It will be interesting to see how it compares in real life, wet road situations.

why do owners of rs4's generally move onto the 911?
they are totally different cars.
i can't see myself moving onto a 911, i need the wagon to move stuff.

what are some reasons for previous owners to move onto the 911?

Itap, I totally agree, although I guess it depends on why you brought the RS4 in the first place though (its practicality or performance).
I have a 993 parked in the garage that hasn't had much of an airing since I brought the RS4. Its got to the point where it will soon be sold as its not being used enough

I did it the 'other way' (No funny remarks pls)...from a 993 turbo - RS4.The 993 was a great car but not pracitcal enough. However having said that I wouldn't mind having both cars on my driveway

Wished i could have kept it.......such a great car and only time will tell if i have done the right thing, although the 2 test drives i have taken in the Porsche to date suggests i might be ok

Why dont you leave me your RS4 when your on the rigs
