Hi !
I´m getting an RS4, altough most times I won´t be driving it (she will be sitting on the garage, since I´ll ride with my parents), I will drive it in the city sometimes. How is this car in city driving ?
Thanks
Diogo

You've nothing to worry about, they're fine in traffic. Mine is the easiest city car I have had in ages. With four wheel traction just make sure you don't hit the bike that sneaks in front of you and expects to pull yards ahead.

They are an absolute dream, they can potter about quite happily in normal town traffic, but please please please let her have a good run out!
A lot of high performance cars are absolute pigs in town, not so the RS4.
Enjoy!

Any concerns around wear and tear doing a lot of urban driving?
I am thinking of overheating in traffic etc. as you won't get the benefit of cool air to those intercoolers and turbos you would as motorway speeds.
Also, if you are doing relatively short distances (e.g. nipping down to Sainsburys) do you have to take the long way around to let the engine warm up properly like TVRs?

Surely you are only going to need the cooling effect of the intercoolers if the turbos are on song? .... in which case you'd be blatting about rather than pootling? (Or am I totally wrong here guys?)

great !! I´ll be sure to give her a good run out everytime I can (course !!

)
what about shutting the engine off ? I heard that we should wait because of the turbos.. is this true ? if so, how much time ?
Thanks

I normally let the engine idle for 20 - 30 seconds after pulling up...not sure what the recommended time is though!
