I have the original Pirelli P-Zero's on my RS4, and I find it difficult to believe that Audi would have fitted a tyre that, assuming that everything esle is OK on my car, is so obviously ill suited to the RS4.
On billiard table smooth roads, they're fine. But in the real world, they're all over the place. They're really taking the edge of the pleasure that I should be getting from driving it
Are they really that bad, or is something wrong with my car ?

Re: Tram-lining...
Suggest you ditch them ASAP as they are the worst tyre ive ever had on my car, the fact is your never gonna get it perfect, but it can get better, so i would get audi to do a 4 wheel alignment on it to check that its OK, and then change your tyres.

I am on my second set of PZeros. 9k miles from the first set.
I did try to source a different brand for the second set but time frames and cost did not allow for that.
I to suffer from tramlining but I guess I have got used to it now. When the new set of tyres were fitted the car went into Audi for a full geometry check with no faults found, so I will have to stick with the tramlining until another new set of tyres are fitted.
Apart from the tramlining I have no problem with the tyres, but I guess some people would find that a problem. You pays your money you takes your choice.

Hi Karl,
I remember you saying that you had just fitted a second set when I can to see you last week. I've had the car "Opti-flex'd" to check the alignment and all was OK.
The tram-lining reminds me of the original Cosworth Seirra from the mid eighties, that thing was so nervous on un-even roads, especially under braking, you were never quite sure which hedge-row you were going to end up in
I'm quite surprised at how many looks the car gets, especially when it's just been cleaned. Far more than the RS6.

I agree the Pirelli's were an absolutely aweful tyre compared to all others i have had on the car
Can't beat a bit of boost!
