Allways trouble with the car

Hi,
since 2 weeks now my seat starts from self to float the backrest cushion from self.
audi dealer tryed to repair it 3 times,changed the switch but still floats.
what can it be?
the dor hinge starts to rust,so they changed it 150 euros but audi warranty didn`t payed because the paint warranty is only 3 years.( 2001 car)
since yesterday when the car it driven some km when i stop in the middle under the switching box i hear a noise that sounds like metal on metal .
so what can it be,audi dealer thinks all is fine..can it be the clunch or the gearbox?
please help me i become thik of the car ...
