The reason for this being only a two seater is because of som crazy tax-rules i Norway. That`s also why this car`s got green license plates instead of regular white ones... ;)

Very nice Walter, what engine mods and power output have you achieved?

Thank you! There are only small mods yet. They`ve modified the intake, filter and a chip. Estimated output is about +/- 450hp..

The car prizes here in Norway is totaly crazy because of the high car taxes.
As a two seater a car like this costs about £47k, and £60k as a five seater...

Where are you in Norway? I spend a lot of time in Oslo.

You are one very luck man to have an RS4 in Norway, the taxes are insane!! I notice you have had the green plate and cage fitted for the lower tax fulfilment ;)

Very nice Walter. Lower weight is the way to go, rather than more power. How much weight did the car lose when you converted it to a 2-seater?

I live close to Kristansand. South in Norway (4 hours drive from Oslo)

I`d like some more power, just have to save up some money first!

Nope, no back seat ! Because of taxes

I don`t think the 2-seater conversion did much for the weight (steel frame with wood plate as load deck and then steel cage as you see on the picture) But the Recaro`s help some.

I agree with feelou, lower weight is the way to go now and not increasing the power.

If you need any advise, let me know.

Btw, is the Sportec pedals close enough so that you can put some revs when shifting down, while braking with your right foot? I mean like in the racing cars. I´m searching for such pedals, that´s why I´m asking.

The cars looks great. I really like those Sportec alloys.

I lived and worked for DNV in Oslo for a year. ROA area. Cracking place. But your car taxes are absolutely rediculous. Get this folks from memory the two seater tax law is to do with classifying the car as basically a commercial vehicle i.e. a Van - Yup its official that's the worlds first RS4 VAN. :biggrin3:. I was told that one of the porche models with a hatchback ?? could also be classified as van if the rear seats were removed.

Well that's one seriously nice VAN  you will be the envy of a lot of folks.
