Anyone have a idea how significant the number of owners of an RS4 is?
All the cars I have seen tend to have had more than other models. Is this normal and should I be worried about buying a car that has already had five owners?
Would this put off future buyers if I ever wanted to selll it?
All comments welcome
Cheers.
Number of owners
RE: Number of owners
Mine had 3 previous - doesn't bother me in the slightest, although I pretended it did when I was negotiating with the dealer. Mine belonged to a pro cricketer and I know guys like these swap their cars all the time, because usually someone else is buying them. If you're the sort that likes spending your money on fast cars, you're usually the sort that wants to try as many as possible before:
a) You get married
b) You lose your licence
c) You try and but a house within the M25

hi
dont see it as a problem,
expensive cars seem to have a lot of owners, 6-12 month max
seems to be the norm before they trade in for the latest hitec
offering, this suits me just fine as they then filter down to the
likes of me, i was owner no 5 on my july 2001 rs4 but full history
& warranty is essential, i am owner no 4 on my latest motor oct 02
rs6 but again under warranty + history.
