Anyone changed the induction system on their RS4

Planning to go for the new Milltek exhaust and race cats with an ECU remap in the new year. Just wondering whether anyone has moded their induction system. I've had a carbon system on an E36 M3 which was superb and a HKS system on my Evo VI which was too full on on a cruise, so wondered what's around for the RS.
I would like to hear my engine a bit more, next to my 996C4S and Honda CBR she's a bit tame. I've always added a K&N to my bikes and pleased by results, especially with PowerCommander and newer fuel maps.
Anyone running with a K&N filter and noticed a difference in the car?
Checked out GruppeM incase they do a system and it would appear not.

Cheers.

I've been running a K&N element since the car was new. I've had no issues whatsoever running it, and due to the amount of time it has been in the car I can't say I've noticed a 'difference' - I recommend you do a search on K&N, as over oiling the filter is suspected to cause the MAF to fail.

Some people have fitted cone filters, and others have gone for the BMC CDA - http://www.bmcairfilters.com/infoCDA.asp

AFAIK changing the intake side of the system will not have much effect, as the major downfall is the MAF. The Miltek system will certainly give the car more road presence  - Make sure that the fitment of the exhaust is not too low or you'll end up with a speedramp nitghmare.

I am sure it would not change much.
Only the sound will be different.

I had the KN filter in my car also and I didn´t notice any difference.
Now I have the standard filter back because guys from MTM kept telling me that I don´t have any benfits from it and I only risk the damage of the air flow meter.

If you will install it, then just be careful when it rains, don´t get close to the cars in front of you because there is a lot of water coming behind them and this water will go through the aftermarket filter very easaly and together with the oil, it will go on the air mass meter.
