She is dripping WET !!!!

Post by Tomson » Mon Sep 27, 2004 11:58 am

Ok, when I park the beast up she drips on the floor.

Just gentle slow dripping from the back of the engine bay, drips from what appears to be around the downpipes where they bend under the car. Also from the under the side RS4 sill cover - towards the back of the car.

It is definately washer fluid ( I was wondering why I had to fillit up once a month - just assumed the wife loved it ) Is this a known problem, does anyone know where the pipes run ?

If it is a bummer to do it can carry on dripping !!!

Condensed water from AC, normal. If that is what it is.

Taste it. Fresh water = AC condensation. :) Soapy glycol taste = washer pipe holed. :( Anti-freeze taste = trouble.

Had similar prob .(washer leak)
Air con usually drips when very warm / moist weather and not like you said.
The leak should not be too difficult to fix if washer leak.
Allowing it to continue will probably lead to other failures. My horn failed on s4 as a result.
Best to get it fixed.
