At what distances are major services carried out? like changing the cam belt etc?

1st major service (cambelt) is 40k miles....

Mine is in for a service tomorrow, showing 600 miles until next service, has just turned 60K miles so I am expecting a big bill :audibash:

60k should not be too bad, £350 or so, unless you let them loose on your brakes :D
My 40k just cost £1k which included all cam belt stuff as well as water pump, additional belts etc which I asked for on top. Got a new MAF on as well just in case.

water pump?why Ben did it break?
as i live in a very hot country should b woried?and when u said 40k in M or 40k k ?
as mine about 45k k.

The whole front bumper unit comes off for the cambelt change, might as well change the waterpump at the same time when the bumper is off.

Cambelt done around 40k miles or 60k km.

That's right. I got it changed along with the auxilary belts (air con etc) whilst the lot was apart. IIRC the pump was about £45 and is well known to need replacement later on in life.

car is bac from service................£418.35 total bill. the plugs were changed, total cost £66 inc vat so the dealers are singing from the same sheet part no: 101000063AC
